Tribute from the Church
Today, we honor. We gather not in sorrow, but in gratitude. For a life that lit up lives, lifted hearts, and led many to destiny. Our Highly Esteemed Pastor Clement, was more than our Pastor, he was a force, a flame, a father. A man of unshakable belief and of fearless conviction. "It was more than a phrase; it was a mantle he wore, a declaration he left with us: 'I can never fail. Me, fail? Never. " He didn't just say it, he lived it. Through storms, he stood tall. Through questions, he answered with faith. "I'm a money mogul," he often said, his gaze fixed far beyond the present. And truly, he was. Not just in the world's way, but in God's. Our Pastor built dreams; he built us, as a force with the word. Where others saw weakness, he saw warriors. Where others saw mess, he saw ministers. He called out greatness with ease, because he believed in the God who placed it there.
Today, we are his trophies to the father. To us, he was a guide, a mentor, a protector. But more than anything, he was our father in the faith; rebuking us where we go wrong, and leading us with a heart ablaze for God. And in what would be his final Sunday with us, he spoke with a fire we now understand more deeply. He shared his heart on soul winning, the passion that burned within him always. With urgency and love, he charged us to go out, to reach, to rescue. He lived for the Master, and his love for Him was unmistakable: in every message, every counsel, every moment. Even in his parting words, he pointed us to Jesus. That is the kind of shepherd our man of God was.
And now, though our hearts ache with the weight of goodbye, we do not grieve without hopе. Our Pastor Clement has not fallen: he has risen. He has finished his race with fire in his eyes, and faith in his steps. He has crossed over with the same victorious shout he carried here. We will miss his booming voice, his rebukes, his presence, his jokes, above all the word he shared with us. But we will carry his legacy, loudly, boldly, joyfully. We will live as he taught us: unafraid, unstoppable, unshakable.
And when the road gets tough, we will remember his words, his declaration, his battle cry, his anthem: "I can never fail. Me, fail? Never!"
Rest well, Pastor Sir. Your race is done, your crown is won, and your impact echoes in every heart you touched.
With love and admiration,
